Job summary

B.b.-Energy is seeking an analytical finance/oil markets professional to join the trading analytics team in Houston. You will track ship movements, monitor supply flows, and collate information both quantitatively and qualitatively to support decision making.

The role emphasizes fundamental analysis of gasoline and diesel markets, close collaboration with traders and analytics, and presenting reports. Strong coding incl. Python and AI interest is valued.

Qualifications

• University Degree (or in pursuit of) Finance, Economics, Science or related discipline.
• Experience with coding; Python; AI or ability to learn.
• Experience in physical or derivatives oil markets preferred.
• Proven delivery track record in a similar organization.
• Details and results oriented.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and mathematical skills.
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).

Responsibilities

• Ship tracking / Monitoring supply flows
• Strong focus on tracking molecular movements across the globe.
• Information collation & dissemination across the organization, both quantitative & qualitative
• Fundamental analysis mainly focused on gasoline and diesel markets, working closely with traders and analytics
• Presenting reports to traders
• Refining, physical arbitrage, supply & demand modelling
