Job summary

B.B. Energy in Houston seeks an oil markets analyst to support trading and analytics. You will track shipments, monitor global flows, and collate data both quantitatively and qualitatively.

The role requires strong analytical and mathematical skills, fluency in English, and a willingness to learn about physical and derivatives oil markets. A university degree in a related field and coding experience (Python/AI) are preferred.

You will work with traders to deliver timely insights and reports.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Science or related discipline.
• Experience with coding; Python; AI or ability to learn.
• Experience in physical or derivatives oil markets preferred.
• Proven track record of delivery in a similar organisation.
• Detail- and results-oriented.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ship tracking and monitor supply flows.

• Perform fundamental analysis focused on gasoline and diesel markets alongside traders and analytics.

• Fundamental analysis mainly focused on gasoline and diesel markets, working closely with traders and analytics
