North American Substation Services (NASS) is seeking an Oil Lab Technician to test transformer insulating fluids, document results, and operate lab instruments. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable working with chemicals, and able to follow strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Strong computer and data entry skills for lab data logging.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming fluid samples from customers.
• Perform checks and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
• Test fluid samples to determine physical, electrical, and chemical properties.
• Analyze test results to confirm validity.
• Perform routine maintenance on test equipment.
• Wash glassware and sample containers as necessary.
• Maintain laboratory as a clean and orderly work area.
• Coordinate distribution of sampling materials to customers.
• Participate in lab quality programs and improvements.
