Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Title Attorney to join its legal team in Texas. The role focuses on conducting title examinations, drafting opinions, and advising on land ownership and lease issues within oil and gas transactions.

The attorney will review and negotiate leases and related agreements while collaborating with landmen, geologists, and other professionals. A JD and TX bar admission are required, with at least 3 years of oil & gas title experience.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oil & Gas Title Attorney.
  • Proficient in title examination within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas law, including leases, contracts, property rights, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
