Responsibilities

• Analyze deeds, leases, and contracts to establish ownership rights.
• Draft title opinions identifying defects, liens, or issues affecting ownership.
• Perform due diligence for oil and gas transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide legal guidance on risks and strategies for mitigating issues in transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and contracts, ensuring legal compliance.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the industry.
• Collaborate with litigation attorneys when legal action is necessary.
• Work collaboratively with team members to execute complex legal transactions.
• Meet quarterly billable requirement of 450 hours.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
