Job summary

HEC seeks a qualified Automation/SCADA engineer to support the design, maintenance, and operation of control systems on Alaska North Slope facilities. You will work with field teams to troubleshoot and implement automation projects.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, GE, Modicon), HMI/DCS platforms, networked control systems, and the ability to read electrical drawings. A Bachelor's in engineering and several years in oil/gas environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree with related SCADA/OT experience.
• Strong knowledge of automation system design and safety requirements.
• Experience with PLC programming and SCADA/HMI development.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot SCADA/automation projects.
• Support maintenance and operation of field control systems.
• Program PLCs (AB, GE, Modicon) and develop HMI/DCS apps.
• Coordinate with instrumentation and electrical teams for field work.
