Job summary

SGS is the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company with a global network of offices. This role directs the daily inspection workload and operations, supervising inspectors and coordinating with labs, clients and shipping agencies to manage critical logistics in the oil, gas and chemical sectors.

The candidate will oversee time logs, calibration records, safety compliance and reporting, and may act as branch manager on duty during evenings or early mornings, supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; strong organizational skills.
• At least 3 years of coordination experience in the oil, gas, or chemical sector.
• Preferred: associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Advanced MS Office skills and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inspection workload and branch operations.
• Directly manage field inspectors and scheduling.
• Coordinate with labs, clients, refineries and shipping agencies.
• Monitor time logs and calibration records.
• Ensure safety, field operations, and reporting procedures are followed.
• Serve as on-duty branch manager 5pm–8am as required.
