Job summary

SGS is a leading inspection company in the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry. This role oversees daily inspection work load, directs field staff, and coordinates with clients and labs to ensure safe, accurate operations.

The candidate will review time logs, maintain calibration records, enforce safety and reporting standards, and act as branch manager on duty when required, guiding a team through complex logistics and client instructions.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail required across tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated; able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage field staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to inspection staff and input data into customer databases.
• Liaise with laboratory and clients to coordinate operations.
• Direct coordination with customers, refineries and shipping agencies for vessel logistics.
• Review and approve time logs submitted by inspectors.
• Maintain calibration records for the branch and ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures for safety and reporting.
