Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Lease Operator to monitor and optimize oil and gas production wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency, reliability of equipment, and support health, environment, and safety processes.

The role requires independence and strong collaboration across teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in lease operations, a solid understanding of upstream facilities, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Lease Operator experience required.
• In-depth understanding of upstream facilities: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, LACT sales, metering, and compression.
• High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree or Technical training preferred.
• Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize all production and injection wells; track process variables and data.
• Support health, environment and safety processes; follow regulations and safe operating practices.
• Operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain oil and gas production equipment.
• Perform duties associated with oil and gas producing operations including plunger lift wells, process equipment, compression, dehydration, etc.
• Optimize artificial lift systems and test wells; collect fluid level information.
• Record-keeping and data input; monitor computer control systems and safety devices.
• Operate and monitor SCADA and coordinate with teams to ensure peak efficiency.
• Drive on a routine basis and perform other duties as assigned.
