Job summary

Crescent Energy Management LLC is seeking an experienced Manager of Operations & Joint Venture Accounting in Houston. You will lead operational and JV accounting for both operated and non-operated assets, overseeing monthly closes, cost allocations, and COPAS procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of oil and gas accounting experience, including joint venture and COPAS.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and joint venture accounting for operated and non-operated assets, including monthly close and reporting.
• Oversee lease operating expenses, capex, inventory, and cost allocation.
• Manage joint interest billings, partner settlements, and collections.
• Serve as SME for COPAS procedures and JOA terms; administer overhead rates.
• Partner with Operations, Land, Revenue, Regulatory Accounting and Finance on acquisitions and integrations.
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, and accounting staff development.
