• Lead responses to partner inquiries, billing disputes, and joint venture audits while ensuring compliance with contractual and accounting requirements.
• Develop, mentor, and lead accounting personnel while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

This position will be responsible for leading the company's operational accounting, joint venture accounting, inventory accounting, cost allocation, and related close and reporting activities across operated and non-operated upstream assets. The role is expected to oversee key accounting processes related to joint interest billings, partner settlements, non-operated accounting, capital and lease operating expense accounting, inventory management, COPAS compliance, and acquisition integration activities.The ideal candidate will have at least **10 years of oil and gas accounting experience**, including significant experience in joint venture accounting, operational accounting, COPAS accounting procedures, and accounting close processes. This role requires a collaborative leader who can effectively partner with Operations, Land, Revenue Accounting, Regulatory Accounting, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Finance teams while driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and developing accounting staff.
