Job summary

Farnsworth Group seeks an Engineering Manager – Oil & Gas to lead technical leadership and project management for a diverse oil and gas portfolio. You will oversee projects from concept through final design, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and guide staff to deliver high-quality results on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in oil and gas engineering management, a PE license, and willingness to travel. A hybrid work environment and strong client focus are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
• 15+ years of experience in oil, natural gas, or related industry including engineering management.
• 5–10 years performing project management with tools and best practices.
• Willing to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of DOT, API, ANSI, ASME and owner regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and PM on projects spanning gas and liquid clients.
• Lead multiple projects and coordinate with support groups for on-time delivery and profitability.
• Provide technical support on large/complex projects as part of an engineering team.
• Develop project concepts through final design and estimate manpower and costs.
• Ensure quality, adherence to standards, and training of staff.
• Hire, evaluate, and develop staff; manage office budgets and events.
• Lead proposal efforts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship expansion.
• Prepare and/or review professional service agreements.
