Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to support Permian Basin operations from the Midland, TX office. You will perform field walks, scope electrical projects from customer requests, and produce accurate labor and material estimates using McCormick Systems.

Travel to industrial sites is required; you will work with the Sales Team and Project Managers to secure bids and ensure smooth handoffs across divisions.

Qualifications

• Conceptual estimating mastery for electrical scopes from field notes.
• Oil & Gas, midstream or heavy industrial estimating experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations and PMs.
• Experience with McCormick Systems or similar software; willingness to learn McCormick.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to evaluate opportunities and assist bids.
• Review labor hours, material budgets, and scope with Project Managers after awards.
• Perform field walks to identify requirements and draft on-site electrical layouts.
• Create material and labor takeoffs using McCormick back at Midland office.
• Maintain and adapt the McCormick database for local conditions and crew rates.
• Budget for hazardous environments including Class I, Division 1 & 2.
