Job summary

Native Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Field Superintendent to lead electrical construction and maintenance across oilfield facilities in the Permian basin. You will supervise field crews, ensure code compliance, and deliver projects on time and on budget in a fast-paced oil & gas environment.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License (TX or NM preferred).
• Strong knowledge of oilfield electrical systems (480V/600V, MCCs, VFDs, generators, PLC interfaces, grounding, hazardous locations).
• Experience in Class I Division I environments.
• Proven leadership and crew management skills.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work extended hours and rotational schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical field crews on oil & gas projects across wells, pads, and facilities.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, NFPA, local/state codes and company standards.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials across sites.
• Serve as the primary field contact with operations, project managers, inspectors, and clients.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct JSAs, toolbox talks, field audits, and GPS compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues.
• Review drawings and scope of work for accurate execution.
• Track daily progress, time, and production; submit field reports.
• Mentor electricians and foremen; uphold high craftsmanship standards.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specification.
