Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Oil and Gas Associate Project Manager in Pittsburgh to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project success from planning through execution. The role requires applying project management fundamentals, evaluating goals, and mitigating risks while partnering with managers and program directors.

The ideal candidate will have a 2+ year background in project coordination, a technical degree, and familiarity with regulatory requirements in the oil and gas

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Coordinator.
• Technical experience in a science or engineering field preferred.
• Knowledge of project management concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders to develop proposals with cost and resource estimates.
• Identify key deliverables and milestones and establish baselines for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and execute project management plans and charters.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risk and change control.
• Maintain project logs, status reports, and performance metrics.
• Support meetings, communications, and stakeholder buy-in for project success.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide oversight to coordinators on smaller projects when needed.
