Job summary

Townsend Energy is hiring Seasonal Drivers for November through April at multiple NH locations, including Manchester and Epping. You will load and unload fuel, make deliveries, and follow DOT regulations while providing safe, courteous service to customers.

Requirements include a valid CDL (A or B preferred), Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and a clean driving record. This full-time seasonal role offers competitive pay and company benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel truck for delivery.

Pay Rate

$30.00 to $35.00 + per hour, depending on experience + bonus pay

What You Will Be Doing

• Loading and unloading fuel truck for delivery
• Making fuel deliveries in a safe and efficient manner to correct addresses
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Interacting with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner
• Conduct pre and post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment

What We Are Looking For

• 1 year of oil delivery experience
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Valid CDL (minimum B)
• Tanker, Air Brake, and Hazmat Endorsements
• CDL A & B preferred
• Pass DOT physical and other requirements
• Ability to drive in a safe and courteous manner
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
• Previous experience with data entry skills to input data on a tablet preferred
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
• Maintaining a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Licensure And Experience

• Prior experience with fuel delivery
• CTEP Certified
• MA or NH Propane license
• Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
• MA hoisting/crane license
• Medic First Aid and CPR card and be proficient in their application

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
