Job Description: Oil Change Technician
Responsibilities:
- Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the dealership.
- Perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point service for customer vehicles.
- Support and teach other employees to be successful.
- Seek ways to improve business operations, efficiency, and customer service.
- Ensure maximum productivity, customer service, and cost control.
- Perform all lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections to ensure proper diagnosis.
- Assess supplemental vehicle needs.
- Maintain quality service and notify management of substandard processes, parts, or procedures.
- Maintain clean vehicles during servicing and repairs.
- Achieve customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate service and communication.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA/EPA requirements.
- Operate with integrity, demonstrating high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Set an example with outstanding attendance and a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent recommended but not required.
- One year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
- Valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements.
- Local state inspection license.
Physical Requirements:
- Work performed in a shop setting with exposure to weather, noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
- Lift up to 100 lbs.
- Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands, handle objects, operate tools or controls.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
- Operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
