Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager in Covington, LA. The role offers PAID TRAINING to learn the Take 5 way, including oil changes, light maintenance, and staff leadership. Enjoy a path to higher roles with internal promotions and a team-focused environment.

As an ASM you’ll provide customer service, manage payments, and stand in for the Shop Manager when needed, while driving shop operations, inventory and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Experience is valued but not required.
• Paid training provided to learn the Take 5 way to manage a shop and perform oil changes and light maintenance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor and ensure staff are in position and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; restock and maintain inventory; train new employees.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other light maintenance as needed.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
