Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a Shop Manager in San Antonio to lead a growing team and manage daily shop operations. The role emphasizes people leadership, scheduling, inventory control, and customer service to ensure fast, reliable oil changes for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience is VALUED but not required.
• PAID TRAINING is provided to learn the Take 5 way to manage a shop location.
• Must be able to lift to fifty pounds (23 kg) and work in a shop pit when needed.
• Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new crew members.
• Creating crew schedules & submit payroll.
• Controlling inventory: End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY).
• Placing product orders and restocking inventory as necessary.
• Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and budget usage.
• Conducting quarterly employee evaluations.
• Providing excellent customer service and assisting with oil changes and light maintenance.
