Qualifications

• One year of related experience in oil/fuel delivery.
• Experience in dispatching, logistics, or related field preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and time-sensitive situations.
• Candidates must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling delivery tickets, schedules and monitoring as per schedule.
• Help build daily routes for fuel oil, propane, kerosene, and diesel.
• Assist with building outside tank routes and snow stops when needed.
• Assist with optimizing routes and dispatch to driver tablets.
• Assist with tracking and reporting customer runouts.

Job Title: Delivery Dispatcher
Pay: $26.00 - $31.25 Per hour. We pay for experience
Work Hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm | Monday through Friday
Location: Onsite in Danvers, MA

What You'll Be Doing

• Assists with the pulling of delivery tickets, schedules and monitors as per established schedule
• Assists with building daily routes for fuel oil, propane, kerosene, and diesel
• Assists with building outside tank routes, snow stops, and difficult delivery routes when necessary
• Assists with optimizing all routes and dispatch to driver tablets
• Assists with the tracking/reporting of customer runouts
• Assists with the updating of the will call to automatic spreadsheet daily
• Adds new monitor information into the appropriate portal
• Calling customers "call-ahead" to customers who need to be notified prior to sending a driver
• Monitors incoming customers' orders from Customer Success Team
• Monitors all low tank alerts from Tank Utility and Service Insight
  

What We're Looking For

• One year of related experience in oil/ fuel delivery
• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of delivery management software and GPS systems is ideal
• Strong understanding of local traffic regulations and delivery compliance
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic delivery situations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and handle time-sensitive situations
• High school diploma or equivalent required
