Job summary

SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. The OHS Program Manager will provide on-site OHS and EHS support for a high technology customer, owning safety programs from development to implementation and management.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative, and collaborative, able to build relationships and prioritize multiple stakeholders’ needs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in OHS; CIH or CSP preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Health & safety industry experience in high-technology or R&D settings.
  • Experience creating and implementing safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the development, implementation, and management of safety programs.
  • Provides expert advice to stakeholders on hazard controls, training, and compliance.
  • Performs Industrial Hygiene (IH) Monitoring.
  • Conducts incident and injury investigations, risk assessments, audits, walkthroughs, and inspections.
  • Acts as brand ambassador for SGS values and expertise.
