Job summary

ViaQuest seeks Shared Living Caregivers in Ohio to host adults with developmental disabilities in your home. You’ll live with the resident, follow daily routines, and nurture a meaningful relationship while pursuing your own interests during service hours.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a background check, own a vehicle, and maintain a good driving record. ViaQuest provides free training and ongoing support.

ViaQuest is looking for Shared Living Caregivers to provide supportive homes for adults with developmental disabilities in Ohio. This unique opportunity allows you to care for someone who will live in your home. You'll work within your daily routines, build a meaningful relationship with the person you care for, and have time to follow your own interests when the individual attends other services. What You Will Do:

• Provide a private, furnished bedroom and welcomingcommon areas in your home.
• Assist with daily living, like personal care, cooking, and cleaning.
• Schedule medical appointments and organize fun social activities.
• Keep records of your work and any unusual events.
• A tax-free stipend between $35,000 to $60,000 yearly, with paid time off (and additional compensation if caring for more than one person.)
