Job summary

Cyfle is seeking a Director of the Ohio Region to lead the Columbus office and oversee Ohio operations, including client development, project delivery, and staff development. The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple business lines in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, 10+ years in bridge/roadway design, and experience preparing ODOT roadway/structure plans.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 10 years of experience in bridge/roadway design and related transportation structures.
• Experience creating roadway/structure plans for ODOT projects.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ohio Region and oversee the Columbus office operations, including business development, project delivery, client relations and staff development.
• Coordinate with other office managers, PMs, Marketing, HR and Accounting to ensure office success.
• Develop growth plans for the region, including staffing and workload planning.
• Engage with professional organizations (ACEC, ASCE, County Engineers Assoc., ASHE).
• Provide monthly progress reports to the President and manage project budgets and proposals.
• Supervise design and staff in roadway/bridge projects, including design analysis and alignment, drainage, and related tasks.
• Prepare CAD drawings and supervise/assist CAD staff on projects.
