Job summary

Modjeski and Masters, Inc is seeking an Ohio Regional Director to lead the Ohio Regional Business Unit, pursuing and securing work and building a team of engineers. You will interact directly with clients and subconsultants, manage operations, and actively participate in marketing efforts to grow the company’s footprint in Ohio while delivering projects on time and on budget.

Candidates must be a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio with 15 years of bridge design experience and a BS in Civil

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (Ohio)
• 15 years of bridge design experience
• Meet Level 2 Bridge Design per Ohio DOT requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master’s Preferred)
• Strong operational and project management skills
• Strong relationships with regional bridge/highway owners, engineers, and contractors
• Knowledge of traditional and alternative project delivery methods
• Understanding of project development and marketing processes
• Capable of developing responsible labor estimates
• Ability to interact and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and clients/subconsultants
• Knowledge of applicable codes, specifications and current research initiatives

• Secure ample work and establish staff for the Ohio Regional Business Unit
• Engage in pursuit of projects for the Ohio Regional Business Unit

• Meet Level 2 Bridge Design per the requirement of the Ohio Department of Transportation

The Ohio Regional Business Unit Director will report directly to the President or Assigned Officer.
