Job summary

Decision Point is seeking a full-time Ohio Campus Ministry Staff to develop courageous student leaders who live, witness, and serve for Christ. You will coach students to reach peers, build partnerships with churches and schools, and help establish and grow local campus ministry.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about evangelism, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented, with a willingness to travel 50–75% of the year and a commitment to a 45+ hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Ministry experience in church or parachurch setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, integrity, emotional maturity, and teamwork.
• Must be an evangelical follower of Jesus who loves the gospel and evangelism.

Responsibilities

Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit committed to reaching the next generation with the gospel. We equip, send, and reach students on school campuses and online, partnering with churches to mobilize students for outreach.

Decision Point currently serves 17 areas and aims to expand to 25 by 2027, with a vision to impact 1,000 campuses and reach 2.5+ million students through campus and online ministry.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Ohio Campus Ministry Staff member to help develop courageous student leaders who live, witness, and serve for Christ.

Campus Ministry Staff are at the core of our ministry.

You will:

1. Coach and equip students to reach their peers for Christ.
2. Build relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders.
3. Help establish and grow local campus ministry.
4. Spend 50–75% of your time in the field during the ministry year (September–May).
5. Travel regularly throughout Ohio, with occasional national travel.

Compensation & Fundraising

• Salary: $40,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Decision Point staff members participate in fundraising for financial and prayer support. New staff receive training, encouragement, and ongoing coaching to build a team of ministry partners.
