Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive long- and short-distance routes, coordinating routes with dispatchers.
• Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trips to destination facility.
• Maintain detailed logs of working hours per state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately.
• Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.).
• Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner.
• Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts.
• Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum). Report all overages to Field Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers.

• Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.
