Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced design engineer for xPL Offsite to design and develop offsite manufactured products using MCAD tools in Denver. Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and manufacturing to ensure code compliance and strict adherence to contract specs.

The role focuses on creating detailed 3D models, prototypes, and automation scripts to optimize design tasks, with responsibility for maintaining product integrity across processes and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or construction roles with prefabrication exposure.
• Proficient in MCAD software and BIM tools.
• Knowledge of scripting to enhance design processes.

Responsibilities

• Design details using DMFA principles for offsite manufacturing.
• Create 3D models and drawings for manufactured solutions.
• Develop into product expert for xPL Product Development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and consultants on design.
• Review design compliance with codes and specs.
• Participate in prototype testing and quality reviews.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to preserve design integrity.
• Assist OSM and Preconstruction with product applications.
• Develop scripts to automate routine design tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
