Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced professional to design and develop offsite manufactured components for xPL. You will create 3D models and drawings, collaborate with internal teams and consultants, and ensure designs meet contractual specs.

The role requires MFENG degree and at least 5 years in manufacturing/construction, with MCAD and BIM tools like Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360. Travel up to 20-30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/structural/industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or construction or related role.
• Experience in prefabrication and offsite construction operations.
• Proficiency with MCAD tools and BIM coordination software.

Responsibilities

• Design details applying DMFA principles for offsite manufacturing.
• Develop detailed 3D models and drawings for offsite solutions and manufactured products.
• Serve as product SME for xPL Product Development team.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and consultants on design details.
• Review design compliance with codes and contract specs with engineers.
• Participate in prototype testing and quality reviews; propose design improvements.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams to maintain design integrity during manufacturing.
• Support project applications and identify new products for development.
• Develop/apply scripting to automate routine design tasks.
