Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a talented engineer to design and develop offsite manufactured components using advanced MCAD tools. You will create detailed 3D models, collaborate with internal teams and consultants, and drive design integrity through manufacturing and construction phases.

Required is a Bachelor’s in engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing or construction, plus proficiency in MCAD and coordination software.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience in prefabrication and construction operations.
• Proficient MCAD software: Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit, Rhino, etc.
• Familiar with contract documents and coordination software.
• Basic scripting/programming to enhance design processes.

Responsibilities

• Design product details applying DMFA principles.
• Design and develop detailed 3D models and drawings for offsite manufactured solutions.
• Develop into product subject matter expert for xPL Product Development team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and consultants to develop product design details.
• Collaborate with engineering consultants to review product design compliance with codes and contract specs.
• Participate in prototype testing, conduct quality reviews, and propose design improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and delegated design engineering teams to ensure manufacturing preserves design integrity.
• Assist Offsite Manufacturing and Preconstruction teams to apply product to projects and identify new products.
