Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic breast images. You will work under physician guidance, perform screening and diagnostic studies, and ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, and EPIC Radiant workflows.

The role requires NY licensure as an L.R.T. with ARRT-M eligibility or certification and a readiness to participate in ongoing education and quality assurance activities within the Mount Sinai

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or approved equivalent.
• 2 years diagnostic experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• New York State License (L.R.T.) with Mammography ARRT-M registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic procedures including screening, diagnostic, and stereotactic exams.
• Position patients and apply technical judgement for high-quality images.
• Conduct QC tasks to comply with MQSA and ACR standards.
• Assist with ACR accreditation and documentation.
• Educate patients about procedures and instructions.
• Ensure images are labeled and transmitted to PACS per protocol.
• Operate imaging equipment per ACR and FDA guidelines.
• Record patient tracking data in EPIC Radiant and schedule exams.
