Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Operator on Martha's Vineyard to coordinate offshore transfers and monitor turbine status via SCADA. You will ensure safe, cost-efficient movement of personnel and equipment between onshore and offshore sites and supervise marine traffic to optimize uptime and safety.

The role requires 3+ years in marine coordination, SCADA or marine control exposure, and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in marine coordination or control room operator role.
• Experience with SCADA or Marine Control systems.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transfer of personnel and equipment by vessels/helicopters for safe, efficient operations.
• Support work schedule planning to maximize efficient use of personnel and transfer assets.
• Monitor weather and sea conditions to ensure safe offshore access and uptime.
• Coordinate HV switching operations and emergency response when required.
• Monitor WTG SCADA and respond to alarms to maximize generation.
• Keep records of daily activities, vessel usage, and weather conditions.
