AVANGRID POWER, LLC is seeking an Offshore Wind Farm Control Room Operator for the Vineyard Haven, MA area. The role involves coordinating transfers by marine vessels and helicopters, remotely monitoring turbine status via SCADA, and ensuring safety and efficiency of offshore operations.

The position requires 3+ years in marine coordination or control room roles, SCADA knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine coordination or control room operator role.
• Knowledge of SCADA or Marine Control systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transfers by vessels/helicopters safely and cost‑effectively.
• Support work schedule planning for personnel and transfer vessels/helicopters.
• Monitor weather to ensure safety and make go/no-go decisions.
• Coordinate HV switching operations as required.
• Monitor WTG SCADA and respond to alarms to maximize generation.
• Maintain daily records of vessel usage and weather conditions.
• Coordinate marine traffic and emergency readiness on site.
