Job summary

AVANGRID POWER, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Operator based on Martha’s Vineyard to oversee offshore transfers via vessels and helicopters. You’ll ensure all prerequisites are met before transit, monitor turbine status via SCADA, and coordinate safe, cost-efficient offshore logistics with internal teams and contractors.

The role requires strong communication, 3+ years in marine coordination or control rooms, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic offshore environment.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a marine coordination or control room role (3+ years).
• Knowledge of SCADA or marine control systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to obtain HV Safety Rules authorization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer of personnel and equipment by vessels/helicopters.
• Plan schedules to maximize use of transfer vessels and crews.
• Monitor weather and sea conditions for safe offshore operations.
• Operate and respond to SCADA/VTS alarms and issues.
• Maintain records of daily activities and vessel movements.
