Job summary

A.I.S., Inc. is seeking an Offshore Operations Support Specialist to deploy offshore on an ongoing wind farm installation project.

The role serves as the primary coordination point onboard a vessel, ensuring safe, efficient execution of offshore operations through logistics coordination and interface management. The position involves 12-hour watches, 28 days on/28 days off rotations, and travel to mobilization locations.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of vessel and personnel logistics in dynamic offshore environments; offshore wind ops preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have current GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
  • Must have BOSIET/HUET training.
  • Must have current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Must be certified by a physician as fit for sea duty via OGUK with specific fitness criteria.
  • Must have proof of eligibility to work within the US.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary onboard point of contact for coordinating contractor and operational activities.
  • Coordinate vessel schedules, including personnel transfers, crew changes, and offshore logistics.
  • Work closely with the Offshore Site Manager to implement project policies and maritime regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate daily offshore construction activities.
  • Liaise between offshore technicians, vessel crews, marine coordination teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with project procedures, OMS, and IT tools.
  • Assist with Personnel on Board (POB) lists and verification of offshore certifications.
  • Track and coordinate offshore cargo movements and declarations.
  • Maintain an active safety presence onboard and promote HSE compliance.
  • Support HSE initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain operational deliverables (plans, reports, training docs).
