Job summary

Proserv in Houston is seeking a Service Automation Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of subsea control systems and topside equipment offshore and onshore.

You will work with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, electrical controls, and industrial communications, traveling to customer sites and offshore installations to ensure safe, reliable operation and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

5-8 years in controls/automation, or equivalent field service experience.
Experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and industrial communications offshore.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and offshore installations.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support during offshore installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Participate in offshore mobilization planning and service execution.
Prepare field service reports, troubleshooting guides, and system documentation.
Verify communications between topside and subsea control systems; troubleshoot issues.
Execute FAT/SIT or similar testing and support pre-commissioning activities.
