Sable Offshore Corp is seeking a Process Control Engineer to support the safe, reliable operation of onshore and offshore facilities in California. The role focuses on DCS, PLCs, SCADA, industrial networks, and automation infrastructure.

The engineer will work with Operations, Facilities, I&E, and SCADA teams to improve process reliability and uptime. Applicants should have extensive experience with DCS/SCADA platforms, PLCs, alarm management, and process optimization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 10+ years supporting oil & gas operations or process controls.
• Experience with offshore and/or onshore facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA platforms and industrial networks.
• Understanding of PSM and MOC requirements is advantageous.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain DCS, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, RTUs, and industrial networks.
• Monitor and optimize production processes for onshore and offshore facilities.
• Troubleshoot control systems, instrumentation, and process issues.
• Configure and modify DCS logic, graphics, alarms, and historian points.
• Develop process control strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Support startup, shutdown, commissioning, and turnaround activities.
• Review and optimize alarm management and control loops.
• Participate in MOC processes for modifications.
• Coordinate with Operations, I&E, maintenance, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support as required.
