Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking an Offshore Rigger to perform rigging, lifting, and material-handling on offshore construction projects.

You will work with crane operators, fitters, welders, and supervisors to safely move and install equipment, following rigging practices and offshore safety procedures. This role requires knowledge of load weight, center of gravity, sling angles, and hand signals, plus the ability to inspect equipment and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Offshore rigging experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging practices, equipment, and terminology.
• Ability to select and use slings, shackles, hooks, and chain falls.
• Understand lift plans, load weights, and center of gravity.
• Strong safety awareness and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging activities for offshore construction and maintenance.
• Rig loads for lifting with cranes and other equipment.
• Select appropriate rigging hardware based on load requirements.
• Attach/detach loads to crane hooks and lifting devices.
• Signal operators and maintain clear communication during lifts.
• Inspect rigging equipment before use and remove damaged gear.
