Job summary

Genesis Energy seeks Offshore Measurement Technicians to join the team in Houma, Louisiana. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of crude oil pipeline measurement systems and PLC units in an offshore setting, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience or a technical degree, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of applicable experience or a technical degree preferred.
• Experience with high voltage and PLC units (Allen Bradley and GE) is desirable.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel expected.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing per DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain offshore crude oil pipeline measurement systems.
• Monitor and adjust PLC-based control equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable DOT regulations and safety rules.
• Participate in safety programs and pre-employment testing procedures.
