Danos in Houma, LA seeks a Deepwater Measurement Technician to support its Deep Water Gulf of Mexico Measurement team. The role emphasizes accurate measurements, calibration, and maintenance of gas/liquid flow meters and analytical equipment.

The candidate will work with engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safe work practices. Requirement includes a high school diploma with preferred associate or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in oil and gas

Competenze

• 2+ years experience in oil and gas allocation and custody transfer measurement.
• Familiarity with LACT meter proving and Sales Gas meter calibration.
• Knowledge of measurement system operation and testing procedures.

Mansioni

• Measure physical quantities and support measurement organization goals.
• Calibrate, test, repair, and replace components on measurement equipment.
• Maintain regulatory paperwork for calibrations and repairs.
• Coordinate and witness LACT meter calibrations and gas proofs.
• Support data collection and equipment corrections for allocation.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Associate degree preferred
