Gulf Island is seeking an experienced Pipe and Structural Welder for offshore fabrication in Houma, LA. The role entails welding structural and piping components, and adhering to ISO/QC standards and contract specifications.

Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, passing tests per AWS D1.1/ASME IX/API 1104, and maintaining weld quality for NDT. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience and a valid TWIC card.

Formación

• Must pass a practical welding test.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Valid TWIC card.

Responsabilidades

• Set and operate welding machines for applicable processes.
• Perform welding for structural, pipe, and welding projects.
• Weld structures and pipes using various metals.
• Pass required tests per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, and API 1104.
• Maintain welding quality to pass NDT testing.
• Transport welding equipment to the work area.
• Ensure safe and efficient welding operations.
• Follow welding chart specs for materials.
