Job summary

Danos, LLC seeks a Deepwater Materials Coordinator in Louisiana to manage purchasing, tracking, and issuing of maintenance materials. The role emphasizes accurate inventory control, supervision of stock levels, and SAP-based processes to support offshore operations.

You will collaborate with Maintenance Leads, Planners, and SMEs to optimize warehouse performance, perform stock checks, and coordinate procurement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-6 years material coordinating experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Offshore material coordinating experience preferred.
• Strong SAP and computer skills.
• Material handling experience preferred.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Offshore Experience.

Responsibilities

• Purchase stocked and non-stocked materials per engineering specifications and QA practices.
• Track materials purchased and provide ETA to Maintenance Team Lead & Planner/Schedulers.
• Assist with material invoice reconciliation.
• Receive materials, ensure secure storage, and issue to Planners per work orders.
• Work with Planner/Scheduler and Maintenance Team Lead to manage inventory and match materials to jobs.
• Optimize warehouse management and stocking levels; review stock-outs and slow-moving items.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and ensure proper field identification and SAP inventory updates.
• Coordinate physical stock checks and update SAP inventory system.
• Track performance of materials management (returns, stock-outs, turns).
• Serve as the point of contact for Materials Procurement and Inventory Management issues.
