Job summary

Sulmara is seeking an experienced Party Chief to lead offshore marine survey operations across Americas. The role involves coordinating field personnel, equipment, and vessel activities while working closely with clients and project managers to ensure safe, efficient delivery of survey projects.

The candidate should have proven offshore leadership, strong knowledge of marine survey equipment and software, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading offshore survey operations.
• Ability to mentor offshore surveyors and develop team capability.
• All relevant offshore industry certifications, or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day offshore survey operations, coordinating with PMs, clients and vessel crews.
• Manage personnel, equipment and project progress to meet milestones.
• Prepare and conduct JSAs, toolbox talks, risk assessments and project briefings.
• Promote safety culture and ensure adherence to procedures and practices.
