Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Mechanic (MECH) or similar position onboard offshore or multipurpose vessels
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents in line with position
• Good knowledge of marine diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of engines, pumps, compressors and auxiliary machinery
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Perform planned maintenance according to PMS and manufacturer guidelines
• Support safe and efficient engine room operations
• Keep maintenance records and report any defects to senior officers
