Job summary

SPIE Turbomachinery on Block 17 is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to organize and lead on-site maintenance operations for oil and gas installations. You will manage technicians, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to HSE rules, work permits and standard industry procedures during preparation and performance.

Requirements include 5–10 years in oil and gas maintenance, knowledge of turbine and compressor equipment, and English language proficiency; French/Portuguese are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas treatment installations and equipment.
• Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams.

Responsibilities

• Organises on site the maintenance operations and leads teams.
• Assists specialists in organization and coordination of work.
• Ensures HSE regulations, permits, procedures and industry practices are followed.
• Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment under responsibility.
• Participates in daily, weekly and coordination meetings on site.
• Mentors team members and ensures knowledge transfer.
