Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is actively seeking a Marine Service Technician- Offshore to ensure the safety and compliance of marine vessels by supporting firefighting inspections per USCG and ABS codes. This role requires offshore availability and a strong mechanical/electrical skill set.

You will learn the scope of work for inspections, use smart apps to document findings, and complete paperwork for databases. A valid TWIC and passport may be required for offshore assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of offshore experience servicing marine fire protection systems.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• OPITO-approved THUET with CA-EBS.
• LSF endorsement in Fire Alarm/Fixed Fire Suppression/Fire Extinguishers and Hoses.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing firefighting inspections per USCG and ABS Codes.
• Learn and understand the Scope of Work for all inspections.
• Utilize smart device apps to manage and schedule inspection documentation.
• Complete required paperwork and upload to database.
• Document deficiencies and items required for repair.
• Manage customer expectations to maintain excellent relations.
