Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for a Marine Installation Technician. The Marine Installation Technician will travel to marine vessels worldwide to install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire protection equipment.

The role requires the ability to travel on short notice and carries significant responsibility for life and property safety. DOT certification for hydrostatic testing and a strong commitment to safety and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• DOT certification to perform hydrostatic testing of pressurized cylinders.
• Understand proper Personal Protective Equipment usage.
• Must understand the purpose, daily use function of Hiller's Job Safety Analysis Forms.
• Display commitment to excellent customer service/satisfaction.
• Assist Lead Mechanical Technicians with installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Become DOT certified to hydrostatically test cylinders and learn inspection criteria for portable/semi-portable extinguishers.
• Follow proper PPE protocols and safety procedures on site.
• Apply Hiller's safety forms and maintain compliance with company standards.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction to clients.
• Support installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems globally.
