Job summary

Arctic Testing & Inspection (ATI) is seeking a Level 3 Rope Access Technician for field work in Texas. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and light mechanical work on structures, vessels, and equipment using rope access techniques in accordance with IRATA/SPRAT standards.

Responsibilities include NDT methods (VT, UT, MT, PT, RT, and advanced UT), rigging and safety compliance, accurate reporting, and documentation. Travel to offshore/remote locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid IRATA or SPRAT Level 3 certification with 12+ months as Level 2 and capable of supervising sites.
• NDT certifications per SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712 if NDT work is performed.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel to job sites including offshore locations.
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass physical exam and drug/alcohol screening; meet safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Rig and de-rig rope access systems per IRATA/SPRAT standards.
• Perform rope-access inspections and light mechanical work on structures.
• Carry out NDT methods (VT/UT/MT/PT/RT/Advanced UT) as qualified.
• Maintain accurate records, logs and inspection reports.
• Follow site safety plans, permits and JHAs; participate in toolbox talks.
• Inspect and maintain PPE, rope gear, and equipment; report issues.
• Install/repair insulation and apply coatings per spec; minor mechanical tasks.
