Job summary

Arctic Testing & Inspection (ATI) is seeking a Level 2 Rope Access Technician to perform inspections and light mechanical work on structures, vessels, and equipment using rope access techniques in line with IRATA or SPRAT standards.

The role requires climbing and rigging rope systems, NDT methods (VT, UT, MT, PT, RT, PAUT), and strict adherence to safety procedures. Offshore travel is possible and a valid IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 is required.

Qualifications

• IRATA or SPRAT Level 2 certification with 12–18 months rope access experience.
• NDT certifications per SNT-TC-1A / ISO 9712 if NDT work is assigned.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites, including offshore.
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Rig and de-rig rope access systems per IRATA/SPRAT standards.
• Perform NDT inspections using VT, UT, MT, PT, RT and PAUT on structures and equipment.
• Complete logs, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow safety protocols, permits-to-work, and JHAs.
• Assist with installation and minor mechanical tasks as directed.
