You will mentor staff, coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Safety, and regulatory bodies, and drive risk reduction initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 10+ years of experience in oil & gas or energy sectors, with offshore exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive environmental experience.
• Significant oil & gas/energy sector experience.
• Offshore operations exposure and regulatory reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Lead preparation, review, and submission of environmental permits, reports, and regulatory filings.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership and operations on environmental requirements and regulatory developments.
• Lead environmental audits, assessments, and inspections with corrective action plans.
• Develop strategies to mitigate operational and project-related environmental risks.
• Lead environmental projects focused on compliance, sustainability, and risk reduction.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Safety, and other stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee monitoring programs and analyze data to evaluate compliance and trends.
• Prepare and present environmental reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support sustainability initiatives focused on emissions reduction and resource conservation.
• Mentor environmental staff and promote continuous improvement in programs.
