Job summary

SPIE Turbomachinery Angola seeks an Offshore Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, gear boxes, crane systems, pumps and valves, reading P&IDs and drawings and using basic measuring tools. Offshore rotation and safety procedures are required.

Requires 0–3 years in mechanical maintenance, Angolan nationality, and fluency in Portuguese with basic English. Basic MS Word/Excel skills and CBM concepts are expected.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in mechanical or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Oil & gas experience is a plus.
• Angolan national; offshore safety rules awareness.
• Fluent in Portuguese; basic English.

Responsibilities

• Complies with HSE regulations during maintenance activities under supervision.
• Reports unsafe acts, conditions, and near misses to supervisor.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance; uses CMMS.
• Identifies spare parts and uses basic measuring tools.
• Interprets vendor documents and drawings; reads P&IDs/PFDs/isometrics.
